Nils Hamm
The Original Magic Art Store is honored to host products illustrated by artist Nils Hamm. We are launching with one of his Playmats and will be adding even more in the future.
At his home near Düsseldorf, Germany, you will find Nils hard at work on illustrations, paintings, and concept art, bring his unique vision and style to the gaming world.
Having illustrated more than 140 cards for Magic: the Gathering, Nils has shaped how countless players experience the game. He has also worked on several video games, book covers, and even his own graphic novel "Astro".
Nils describes his approach to art as expressive and whimsical and continually strives to develop his own unique style. While not busy creating new worlds, Nils works as an art instructor, working with children in creative workshops and game design seminars, teaching concept art and drawing.
